 | Patrol Vessel Uisko
 Patrol vessel Uisko is designed to function all year round in all Baltic Sea conditions. Its crew entails 15 people, which allows it to function non-stop for a fortnight. Uisko is capable of travelling in 50 cm fast ice. The vessel's main duties include, among others, border control, taking part in maritime search and rescue efforts, surveillance of waterborne traffic and maintaining public order and security. The vessel also has the equipment to take part in oil destruction measures both in summer and winter conditions. Because the vessel has a remote operated vehicle (ROV) and divers in the crew, it can carry out underwater tasks such as search and recognition of targets. Uisko can be used in national defence together with the Defence Forces.
