1930-2010

The Coast Guard is a border guard authority operating under the Ministry of the Interior. The main objective of the Coast Guard is to perform internal safety services at sea through border control and border checks as well as maritime rescue services.

In 2010 we celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Finnish Coast Guard.
